Cut bait from the skyway piers at night is money. Take some small hooks, tip them with squid and catch pinfish and sand perch (squirrelfish). Cut them in half, set on the bottom with weight. Sharks will come.

If you really want to catch sharks, take your daughter.....put a hook through her shorts and have her swim around with a balloon attached to her! Just kidding!

Frank, Are you kidding me? I do not have a problem with you or your daughter. I barely know you. What I said, I said merely as an innocent JOKE. It is something I would say about my own kid (coming in December). IT WAS A JOKE. If I caused any offense, I do apologize. I guess I felt a comfort level with a fellow CFKA member that was not there. I guess I will be learning the protectiveness of my own family soon enough. Perhaps I will feel the same way when presented with this situation....I don't think so, but maybe. Either way, I am truly sorry. It will never happen again.
For sharks....butterflied spanish mackerel or bluefish chunks work great. As do ladyfish. Happy sharkin'!!

Take lady fish chunk and cut it up the middle and put it on your hook where a flap is showing the meat. Make yourself a chum bag of meat parts and throw it over the side. Make sure you are anchored. If you do not have a chum bag slowly flick pieces of fish along with small chunks in the flow of the water behind your craft. The sharks will come and you will have fun. Bill
