Looking to take my first trip to the central east coast. Looking for any recommendations for a kayak guide to get the lay of the land. Want to use my own kayak and will be staying three days. Also, looking for a place to stay. Would like old Florida(cottage style)type motel where I can take the smokey joe and do some grilling outside the room. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

You might want to give the Fly Fisherman shop a call...in Titusville...I know one of the guys there do kayak guiding...I think his name is John Tarr but I'm not quite sure.
I'd be happy to go but I am up in NC...won't be home until Sunday afternoon....have a good time!!!

I am new to kayaking, I normally fish in my center console (19' mako). I have an inflatable now, but think I want an ocean kayak, perhaps scrambler xt. Is there a group in central florida that goes out? Any suggestions how to network with people? I would like to go out with someone who knows the area, before I do it solo. Thanks. Henry.

Taekwondo I'm in the same situation. I've never fished the area and wanted to make a long weekend of it and hook up with someone falmilar with the area for my first trip. However if all else fails I will go over and give it a try soolo
